Yup... it's been 6 days since I posted anything... as you can imagine, life with 2 little kids can be quite hectic. Especially during mile-stones, like rolling over, or growth spurts which mean CONSTANT feedings and fussiness. :) I've still been doodling and I have TONS of ideas... I just haven't had a chance to really execute them. I'm dabbling still... though I don't have anything I'm super happy with. This was an experiment with a potato stamp I made and acrylic paint. Did
Not every experiment is a screaming success.... LOL! I don't know that I will finish either of these... I was playing with a few ideas and experimenting with colors and textures. I did an underpainting of Vortex of Love in burnt sienna... it isn't exactly what I expected. I don't have any acrylic medium so I used glue... kind of a weird result. I may actually do some more work on Her Tribe is Love. She's wearing a great big headdress and it's supposed to have hearts on the he
My really good friend Cathy and her sister Diana lost one of their very good buddies a few months ago... I know how much sweet Georgia Mae meant to these girls. I felt compelled to paint this little angel with her wings. <3 Rest in Peace sweet furry girl. <3 Say hello to Dakota for me!
In honor of our 8 inches of SNOW yesterday and my LOVE of snow, snowflakes and SNOWMEN/Women... I doodled this happy little sketch in Crayon. Please comment and critique.... I'm not super happy with the tree... but it's the first tree with snow that I've ever done... :p
This is my beautiful Friend Amber Nichol. She is such an amazing woman, spirit, friend. However,
I have been inspired by this video that was in my YouTube feed.
I am committing today to 1 drawing (or medium of my choice) a day for 365 days. I want to expand my creativity and improve my skills. I've been "out of the loop" for so long I feel this will help me get back in the groove.
For the month of February I am going to explore my FAVORITE shape, HEARTS and "Love," one of my FAVORITE subjects! <3
I wasn't able to get started until today, so I've done 2 to make up f
